Gin appears to be the UK’s most fashionable drink at the moment and The Distillery is the ideal place to imbibe it. Set in a charming canalside location, this red brick warehouse building wouldn’t be out of place in Peaky Blinders. The gin is hand-crafted on site in the Roundhouse. Small batches are created in a copper still, the latter also making for a feature of the upstairs cocktail bar. Not only can you enjoy a variety of gin and other drinks at The Distillery, but there’s a mouthwatering menu of food served in an open kitchen dining area. In mild weather you can sit out on the large rustic waterside terrace, or for that special occasion or celebration, hire the upper floor as a unique private event space. Perhaps even take part in a masterclass, distilling day or gin school during your visit.

Great service and food was offered at this restaurant. We had the please of being served by Scott who made the experience very warm and inviting. Overall the food and the service was to an exceptionally high level and we really appreciated the experience.
